TREPO Board Meeting September 4, 2018 (approved October 2, 2018)

Joan Nano called the meeting to order at approximately 7:00 p.m. She led the Pledge of Allegiance . John Bryant said a prayer . Joan asked Karen Mullins and Sassy Johnson to fill in for two missing Board members. Linda Hizer called roll .
Secretary’s Report: Linda Hizer passed out the minutes for the August meeting and the minutes were approved by the Board.
Treasury Report: Evelyn Johnson reviewed the P&L Budget and Reconciliation Statement. TREPO has a money market account of $32,499.68 and TD checking account of $35,348.35.
Membership Report: Evelyn Johnson reported approximately 762 members. She suggested information for new members to be placed in sign box in front of clubhouse (who to contact/how much, etc).
Park Management CC: Jule McGee reported that the electric pole is up and operational at Point Park. He stated the need to move the plug closer using pvc pipe. Three truckloads of fallen trees and limbs were removed from Bridge Park. The fallen tree at Camping Park was removed. The lock on the gate at Camping Park had to be taken off and will need to be replaced eventually. A new lock has been placed on the maintenance gate at Hodor Park. Several loads of dirt/rock will be needed to repair parks after flooding is over in SC and CC. John Bryant reported that he has been unable to find the grills he was researching for Hodor Park. Dusty Trail has repaired the Hodor Park picnic table, removed the old pump house at Hodor Park, and trimmed the cedar tree in front of the bathrooms. Mike Wilson has repaired the 15 mph signs (2) for Hodor Park and replaced the sign at Boat Ramp Park.
Water problems in bathroom vestibule is ongoing. Investigation of more parking area at Point Park and investigation of moving the entrance to Hodor Park is ongoing. The gate at Mid-Point Park needs repair.
Park Management SC: SC parks will need evaluation after water goes down. The plans for a kid’s fishing tournament may have to be called off.
Newsletter Report: Members should be receiving newsletters any time now.
Old Business: October Picnic- president presents the “state of TREPO” to members/Busy Bees will serve.
Joan Nano shared “general rules” with Jule McGee to make signs.
Security camera proposals tabled due to missing proposals. Jule McGee stated that the committee needed to have a work session to sort things out.
New Business: Joan Nano stated the need for 3 (nonmember) vote counters. The Fort White librarian has offered to count votes. Joan suggested that the librarian invite someone to help and ask Laura Hunter for suggestions. Mike Foret will be asked to keep track of members voting.
