A Major Milestone for Three Rivers Estates: Our Revitalization Is Official
This month marks an exciting and historic moment for Three Rivers Estates. After many months of dedicated effort, coordination, legal review, and community involvement, we are proud to announce that the revitalization of TREPO’s original governing documents has been fully completed and officially recorded. Suwannee County finalized the filing on February 6, 2026, followed by Columbia County on February 9, 2026.
These filings, reviewed and approved by the Florida Department of Commerce, formally restore TREPO’s legal standing under the same covenants and bylaws that have guided our community for decades. With this restoration in place, TREPO is once again able to:
- Work directly and effectively with local law enforcement
- Maintain and protect our parks with greater consistency and accountability
- Plan for an organized, productive, and community‑focused year ahead
This revitalization marks the beginning of a stronger, more stable future for Three Rivers Estates.
What Comes Next
Now that revitalization is officially complete, the Board is moving into the next phase: making our documents clearer, easier to understand, and more accessible to all property owners. While the structure of our governing documents has been restored, we recognize that many sections contain outdated language. Updating this content will be a long‑term, thoughtful process that involves member feedback, legal guidance, and transparent communication every step of the way.
In the meantime:
- Printed copies and downloadable PDFs of the revitalized documents will be available prior to Key Day.
- All property owners who were previously eligible for keys remain eligible this year.
- TREPO membership continues to be voluntary, and our commitment to transparency, communication, and community involvement remains stronger than ever.
Looking Ahead to Spring and Beyond
As we move into the spring season, we’re excited to renew our focus on community, cooperation, and stewardship of the beautiful Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers that make this area so unique. With revitalization behind us, we can now shift our energy toward improving our parks, encouraging responsible recreation, and strengthening the sense of unity that has always defined Three Rivers Estates.
To all members, volunteers, and neighbors who have supported TREPO through this process, thank you. Your dedication, patience, and involvement have helped move our community forward, and we look ahead with optimism and appreciation.
Together, we are building a brighter, more connected future for Three Rivers Estates.
