Please use caution. We were informed that a permit has been issued for its removal. We will update when it has been removed. This photo was taken by a member.Just be cautious and observant on the water. At this point they are minding their own business. But, what if someone gets out of their kayak or tube not knowing there was a gator just under the water, It would be tragic. Please be careful. ... See MoreSee Less7 months ago

Information on the volunteer gate greeter job. When the original 2024 budget was presented to the members they did not want the membership dues to increase. So we went back to the drawing board and tried to cut as much as possible. We cut many areas. One of those was one paid gate greeter position. Members said they would be happy to volunteer a day here and there to help fill the vacant position if it meant the dues could be reduced. We have 3 paid positions, paid positions which are not considered volunteering. This one position is voluntary and not paid. If we have 8 members volunteer one day a month the void would be filled. Terri held several Town Hall meetings and everyone said they would be glad to help out and volunteer. Now is your opportunity to volunteer like you said you would be willing to do. If this position is not filled by volunteers it will be added back into the budget for next year which ultimately means a raise in your dues. If you have any questions please call Terri Hester 386-497-3320.Thank you for your help. ... See MoreSee Less7 months ago

A big thank you to Mike Smith and his nephew Troy for taking a dangerous tree down in Hodor park yesterday. Had nature taken it down during the storm we are expecting, it could have damaged one of our pavilions. That saved TREPO lots of money not having to pay for the work. TREPO’s Third Annual Christmas Extravaganza 2023 was definitely the best event of the year. Fun was had by all! The children made crafts, wrote a letter to Santa, took photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause ate snacks and cup cakes, received gifts and a filled personalized stocking. Then enjoyed the lighted parade and hay ride with Santa. Our members went all out decking their vehicles with light, music and decorations. They were Awesome! All entries deserved to win, they really did. The members voted on their favorites. 1st place Traci Harvill O'Brian -The Nativity2nd placeChristina Prince- The Grinch3rd placeAndrea Catanese & Rhonda Lacey - Gifts on top and Santa pulled behind.Hot cocoa and Cookies were enjoying by all. This event would not have been possible without the support of our many volunteers. Members jumped in to help serve sandwiches, assist with crafts, set up and clean up. You are the Best! They spent 2 days decorating. Thank you to all of the volunteers that went above and beyond helping us in every capacity. Thank you to those secret Santa’s that donated trees, decoration and $ to help purchase gifts. Thank you to Howard Septic Tank Service for donating the hay for the hayride. THANK YOU to everyone for being a part of our event! We have great members that make up our community and it wouldn’t be the same without you all. Merry Christmas!🎄 ... See MoreSee Less1 years ago

The TREPO board meeting last night was very productive. The previous townhall meets held by Terri Hester allowed the members voices to be heard. We heard there was a petition signed by many members, but there were no petitions given to the board or president. Don’t depend on a petition to voice your opinion, call, email or message your president Terri Hester. The budget was revised and the lowest amount we could reach was $175,000. There were cuts across all areas, like No HOA management company. We cut the gate greeter from the Suwannee county boat ramp and one at Hodor park that will be worked by trained volunteers. We cut the ports potty budget in half. We cut the amount of capitol improvements by more than half. These we the major cuts, there were others as well. The new 2024 TREPO membership dues will be $175.00 annually. The online payment option will be updated and ready for payments tomorrow morning. If you have already sent in your check for the 2024 dues, you will need to send in an additional $25.00 before we can process the membership. Thank you to all of our members that attended the board meeting last night. It is good to see so many members getting involved. We would like to thank everyone for the enormous amount of feedback we received from the Member’s Meeting last Saturday. As you know the budget is not complete and the proposed draft has to be voted on. At this time, with the feedback we received, we feel that spending should be cut as much as possible. We have a few ideas on spending cuts that we will be discussing at the next board meeting so we can iron out the details and then the budget will be proposed to the board for approval. The idea of a property management company is only a suggestion at this point but it’s worth at least exploring to see if it’s even a fit for our community.Special thanks to all who showed up and provided feedback on the matters at hand.
