Dear TREPO Members,
As we move forward into 2026, I want to take a moment to speak directly to each of you about where we stand as an organization and the progress that has been made this year.
Many of you are aware that the Board has been working closely with legal counsel to address the long‑standing issue of our covenants and restrictions, which expired decades ago due to a missed filing in the 1990s. In early 2025, our attorneys guided us through the State of Florida’s revitalization process. After more than 90 days of review, the revitalized documents, unchanged from their original form as required by law, were officially recorded in Suwannee County on February 6th and in Columbia County on February 9th of this year.
This marks an important milestone. With these documents re‑established, TREPO is once again operating under properly recognized covenants, which means we can protect our parks, enforce rules, and work cooperatively with local law enforcement. Most importantly, this ensures that the amenities and natural resources that define Three Rivers Estates are preserved for the property owners exclusively.
Joining the membership remains voluntary. All properties that were eligible before revitalization remain eligible today. The Board will be making the revitalized documents available both online and in print before Key Day. Members will also have opportunities in the future to participate in updating and modernizing the documents now that they are legally restored.
The TREPO Board continues to focus on safety, compliance, financial responsibility, and maintaining the quality of our parks. I am honored to serve alongside 10 other board members and 4 officers who donate their time and skills for the benefit of this community.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. With transparency, communication, and cooperation, we can continue strengthening TREPO and protecting the Three Rivers Estates community for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Glenn Hunter
Chairman, TREPO
