Vonda Ackerson

I am a military wife. My husband is approaching 30 years of active duty military service in the US Navy. We have three daughters and one granddaughter. We love to travel, but that has been put on hold due to COVID-19. Our family lived in Naples, Italy for 3 years. We have visited 25 countries and did lots of exploring. The knowledge my daughter gathered is so much better than any history or geography lesson. We are so blessed to call the USA home. I homeschooled my daughter in 2nd through 6th grade. She is in the 8th grade and still a straight-A student. Yes, I am a proud mom. Proud of all three of my girls. I love Three Rivers and I feel fortunate to be able to enjoy all this beautiful community has to offer. My parents took me on my very first float down the Ichetucknee when I was six weeks old. Maybe that’s why this place is so special to me.. Our neighbors are wonderful! I keep meeting so many new members that will soon be new friends.
